Also, regardless of others being jerks you really shouldn't post other people's names.

People like that angre me too. I think you were right to post character names that do something like that. Its like posting character names that say one thing, but do another, or worse, don't state their intentions and join, then leave when they get what they want. Posting names allows others not to joing up with them. That way other people can be warrned about these people and their behaviour. I wish I had included all of the "jerks"' names in my friends' list before. Then put them in the ignore column. That way, I can see who snubbed me or were jerks to my characters, then taunt and snubb them with my monk.
It infuriates me when a group asks for monks, then two show up, and help the group until they kill a monk boss. They cap and leave. No thanks, no "cya", nothing. Just leave. And you can tell they didn't just lag out.
Honestly though, I'm sorta like them. But I will state my intentions, like "N/Me lfg to cap, will help with bonus and mission". I'll set my character to whatever is the most beneficial to the group. I will get what I want and stay with the group until they complete mission/bonus. Often times, I don't get what I want, either boss doesn't spawn or time restrictions, or whatever, but I'll stay with the group til the end. I mean they offered to help me, so why not return the favour. Granted, I get what I want and we die, there is a good chance I won't stick around to help them complete the mission. I will if I have time and the group sticks together though.
